[PCB_FORUM] Re: drill hole...

One way to find out how to accomplish this task is to ask the board house
how they would do it. Usually, slots are created by a router bit plunging
into the PCB and drawing a line to create an oval hole. Your PCB house can
give you the minimum diameter of the route and you can specify your diameter
and draw distance to create your slot. It is the same method they use to
create intricate PCB board outlines and paneled routes.

Subject: [PCB_FORUM] drill hole...

Hi,
I use Allegro Design Expert and I wanna create a padstack for a special
connector.
Well, I want to know if it's possible to design a pad with a rectangular
drill hole...
I have imagined a solution : I enable multiple drill and make a row of
circles...But it's not exactly what I want...

Thanks for your answers !!!
