Rectangular drill hole for connector? DON'T GO THERE...

rectangular connector lead = circular drilled hole
circular connector lead = circular drilled hole

(Never seen a rectangular drill bit...  :)

Yes, you can do rectangular slots and cut-out, etc. but for leads poking
thru a pcb, it's always drilled circular. No reason not to.
