[PCB_FORUM] Re: data base pcb footprint viewer

The component display changes determined on how many subclasses are
turned on. If you have too many subclasses visible than you will only
see the crosshairs for pads and the place bound layer displayed. This
has been this way for a while and not and not isolated to 16.0. Turn
all your layers off and just turn on Package Geometry > Assembly Top and
Pin > Top subclasses and you should see a difference.

Hope this helps,

Yeah the new DFA setup changes things a bit. Pads became cross hairs,
but the place bound layer should still be visible.

Group, I use to see the pcb footprints while placing parts. When we
upgraded to 16.0, I've seem to have lost that function. Anyone know
where the button is?

Thanks for any input

Sam
