Hooray! Any fix is a good fix. And that was suggested (see below).

Kevin---I actually had tried this but it didn't work.
I ended up sending the board to Cadence and they got their copy to work with a dbdoctor. But mine still didn't work(after everything I tried) This morning we found the solution. When allegro crashed on me it left my find filter for delete in a strange state. All I needed to do was turn everything off on the find filter form and then turn them back on for the delete command. Now I can delete!!
(I also uprev'd to a more current ISR level but not sure whether that was part of the solution or not)

Diane, Try selecting all of the clines and vias and moving them 0 (ipick 0) in any direction if the previous idea doesn't work. If moving them allows you to select them this should work.

-----------------------------------------------------------Hi Diane,
I had a similar problem with a Skill routine. It was solved by clearing the select set. This unsets the find bit. Try typing "skill axlClearSelSet" in your command window.

I had a crash in my allegro. I ran dbdoctor, updated my drcs, picked
up all the traces and vias and moved 0,0, and rebooted by desktop.
But
when I try to delete a via or cline it says there is no element to be
found (and they are selected in the find menu). The only way I can
get
it to see the cline is to move it (without stretching etch) and then delete it---I can't get anything to delete a via.
Has anyone seen this before and/or do you have any suggestions on how
to fix it?
