[PCB_FORUM] Re: bad graphical behavior with infinite cursor

Thanks for the reply Randy. It's one of our EEs that's having the problem.

I'm a bit fuzzy as to the openGL thing. Why exactly would we want it set or
disabled in Allegro?

I don't have the problem, and I don't have "disable_opengl" set, so not sure
that's the issue.

I was leaning towards a graphics card issue: either the driver needing an
update, or needing a better card.

Thanks again.

Hi Gary,

Every time these issues come up try the following:
Turn off openGL, see if that has any effect
Make sure you update the graphics card driver to current, from the manufacturer
and not the standard default windows driver (i.e. go to NVIDA)

Randy

Guys,

Have any of you seen bad graphical behavior with infinite cursor?

[cid:[email protected]]

I have an EE using the Physical Viewer that wants to switch from cross cursor
to infinite cursor, but he gets the above behavior.

I'm thinking it has to do with his computer, maybe the graphics board or
settings?

TIA for any help!
