Hey Dharma,

 

I've never used Altium, and haven't even used an autorouter for years.

 

But, the "10000" in the <MIL 10000> reference could be like when Allegro
is set up in Mils with an Accuracy of "1".

The "1" indicates the decimal point, and stands for a resolution of
1/10000 of an inch.

 

If you were to change the Accuracy in Allegro to "0" with mils as the
unit, that would stand for a resolution of 1/1000 of an inch.

 

Maybe the resolution is too high in either Altium or Spectra, try
adjusting one and/or the other.

 

Not sure if this helps, but something consider.

Hi Everyone,

I am trying to load a dsn output from altium into the autorouter but I
keep getting the same error:

" Resolution value <MIL 10000> in your design file is too fine. The
program will not run do to possible arithmetic overflow. Please correct
the resolution value and rerun your job"

I assume this means it would rather see the design in inches however
there does not appear to be an inches output option in altium ( only MM
and MILS). Am I understanding this error correctly? If so have any of
you encountered this before?
