Hi Tony, > You can write a routine to format the regular Viewdraw netlist to an > Allegro format or you can manually format it. I know several companies that could help. To me, $2500 for this netlister is simply out of line. If it offered crossprobing and decal preview, and supported better rules (no support for GROUPs any more...they removed this), then I would consider it. > Last but not least, you may already have the interface you need so > before you spend a lot of time formatting files or generating device > files I would call your Mentor support. I do not have the Allegro interface. It's optional, as I mentioned, and $2500 just isn't worth it for me, given I can get there already. What I want to do is expand on the current home brew netlister I use, so that it supports device file generation as well as rules. It's really not that hard. I don't plan on supporting back annotation, since I never use it.
