[PCB_FORUM] Re: Uprev Problems

Hi Dave, yes it works! I downloaded the hotfix for 16.2 and it fixed my problem.

Base version of 16.2 has a known issue, I had the same problem and had to revert to 16.0 to uprev.

I believe that it’s mentioned as being fixed in the hotfix, but I have not actually tried to uprev since installing.

Get the latest hotfix and let us know if it works !

Subject: [PCB_FORUM] Uprev Problems

I'm currently running Allegro 16.2. We have several old .brds at the 14.x level. When I try to open them, it prompts me to run dbdoctor. It seems to go through the uprev steps, but ends with errors:

Performing UPREV on the database - C:/pcb-history/test.brd

Performing dbdoctor14 to bring DB up to REV14

C:\pcb-history\>echo off ERROR: Revision to REV14 found errors.

Performing dbdoctor15 to bring DB up to REV15

C:\pcb-history>echo off ERROR: Revision to REV15 found errors.

ERROR: Uprev failed!

I've logged an SR, but am wondering if anyone else has run into this problem and has a quick solution. Thanks for any info!
