[PCB_FORUM] Re: To Mentor...

Hi,,

Pinnacle version, there is some constraint manager type entry tool.
Pretty neat too. Regarding the script. Nope, no skill code, but they do
have some form of scripting interface that allows it to talk to excel,
pretty neat too. (some demo i saw a year ago)

depend on option you procure,, there is extreme PCB, and team PCB,,
where two Cad can layout realtime (hehe,,, like playing Lan game) , or
partition. (partition it first, integrate later)

Subject: [PCB_FORUM] To Mentor...

Hey guys,

Well, it looks like I will be switching to Mentor (boo hoo!) after using
Allegro for twelve years.

Could anyone tell me which is the high end Mentor product? Also, any
tips on learning it (I will probably get official training, but I want
to get a jump on it).

Does Mentor have scripts like Allegro, Constraint Manager etc.?

Thanks for any responses!
