Thanks Gary,
Can't claim the joke - heard it before - just wanted to share.
I crashed Expedition frequently starting out - actually, I still crash it -
just not as often.
When I first started using Expedition I had a tendency to try and correct a
wrong command with another one before the first one finished processing.

Ed,

That's pretty funny! I only hope I don't wreck my first Mentor design!

Gary,
There was a long time Hearst driver that lost his job and became a taxi
driver. When his first taxi customer tapped him on the shoulder, he promptly
wrecked his taxi. You see, his former customers never did that. Switching
tools is a lot like that.

Gary,

I believe Exp was previously known as Veribest. Mentor also has a flavour of
Exp plugged into their BS toolset called RE - it essentially is an
enhancement to Boardstation's manual / interactive route engine. Comparisons
to Pads are based in Exp (and RE) interactive and bus routing functionality.

My opinion - you'll miss Allegro. And if you plan to do any autorouting,
hold on to that Specctra license !!
