[PCB_FORUM] Re: To Mentor...

Hi Gary,

The way I looked at it when I HAD to learn ExP was, if the company is
committed to the decision, and it's been well thought out, and there's
adequate training available, AND that someone there knows the tool(a big
!!!) you're headed in the right direction. ExP was pretty cool. Had some
good features. Has limitation, like Allegro does. Works from a
"centralized" library, like Allegro does. Just keep in mind... it's not a
complicated as you've come to see Allegro as. It's much more of a
tinker-toy tool, and I don't mean that in a bad way. It's very easy to
use, just simple in some ways. Did I say that meannie-wise? I don't mean
to.
