OrCAD Layout and Allegro both run from the Specctra Autorouter. Just that Layout will check out a 6layer router without any advanced rule options.. but they are the same router. ** I guess you are on about the - Route -> Automatic / Editor options in Allegro and Layout and NOT the interactive menus..
