Hi All:

When Orcad went to windows, they bought NeuroRoute from Gene Marsh in '96?
Or it was licensed to Orcad and Protel bought it. Gene did good.

That went into Orcad Layout, I think?.

Is any of that NeuroRoute code still in any Orcad/Cadence products?

tr :)

IMO, the interactive router in Allegro works very well. Differential pairs
work great. There are different modes for hug preferred, shove etc. I
don't know all the intricacies of all of them yet, but this interactive
router is my preferred way of routing a board. It gives you a real time
report of DPTol and length rules.

I have not compared it to the Specctra interactive router, but perhaps a
combination of the two would be best.

Regards,

Austin
