I am on performance and it doesn't open up a specctra window unless I type in
specctra at a dos command line or I also use a thing called cygwin which is a
unix term emulation which I can type it in there and it will bring up a
specctra window

I was wondering if that was still spectra. I am on studio, and was surprised
when autoroute didn't open up a spectra window.

I barely used it this time, but it sure seemed easier to sewt up than when i
really used way back in PSD14 (i think).

Tom,

The auto-router built into Allegro is the Specctra router. Many folks regard
it as the best in the business for auto-routing. In addition to auto-routing
it has excellent interactive route editing capability too. I find that there
are some things I like doing with the Specctra route editor and others with the
Allegro route editor.

Regards,

Randy

Hi George:

The router that is built into Allegro is it a good one? Is it the one they use
in Orcad Layout?

Best regards,

tr :)
