Hi I believe Barbara mentioned how to do it in the first post.
She states:
"Any chance you are thinking of add text, pick location, RMB read from file?"
If your having trouble, select a piece of text existing on the layer you wish
to import the file to by using "edit" "text" than RMB and you will see the menu
option "read from file", Once it gets going you can the just use the "Add"
"text" RMB "read from file".
Seems a little bit of a funky way to do it but works fine once you get the hang
of it. If it still is unclear let me know and I'll send you some screen capture
shots being that a picture is worth a thousand words.
Also there is most likely a simpler more elegant way to do this and better
explained by someone proficient at explanations. I'm usually just good at
getting the software to do what it isn't supposed to do. Hope this helps, Joe
