[PCB_FORUM] Re: Text edit dialog box??? ver 16

Not sure about V16 but in 15x for the Cadence schematic parts
you can define which editor to use. My choice is TextPad.
Then Group Select the text you want
then  Group>Text Change
RMB >Editor 
and a Window opens with the selected text.
Then make changes, Save, Close window and text changes in Schematic or
Library part.

That was PADS. Haven't seen it in Allegro. There is something in Cadence
Capture and Concept (schematics). Would be pretty cool if you could
import
a text file into a subclass (hint, hint Cadence). That way I could take
my
testpoint Excel spreadsheet, output it as simple text, and import all
the
text I'm needing for 100 testpoints...  Get the point Cadence?

Any chance you could submit it Barbara?
