Ask your board manufacturer on this one. Suppressing
unconnected will definitely make the board easier to make.
It will give you much greater line to metal spacing whenever
a pad is removed. Which is a lot of places.
But, really, talk to the board house and they could give you
many reasons, I am sure, to do this.
