Good Day Every body,
We often need to route hundreds of signals from bga to connector. At first, we
fanout/breakout traces from socket pins in each layer which takes so much time
(that time signals are not assigned and assignment/routing is best fit).
I would like to figure out some method either by skill or other means through
which fanout can be routed quickly.
Looking at skill pdf files in which there is commad axlPathLine to define path
then use it as input to axlDBCreatePath to create trace on the PCB however for
this, we need to define path every time & seems difficult to make some kind of
algorithm/logic for this.
Other option if need to use Cadence auto-route then it usually works when there
is some rat between two points while in my case,there is no rat at initial
stage as assignment is best file. Assignment will be back annotated from PCB to
schematic after bringing all traces from bga pins to next to connector pins.
Please share your thoughts if there is any way to perform this task quickly
using some skill code/auto-route or some Allegro option. Thanks.
