[PCB_FORUM] Re: Slide and little segments...

Hi Austin,

what you describe is exactly what happens when you use  huge or shove while adding a cline. The result is thousand of smalls clines segment.
Well, i use these feature (auto-push) with circonspection to avoid what happens to you.

And yes, you have to add a new cline somme times  to gain time...

Hi,

I am trying to slide a lot of lines. Some slide perfectly, others slide as
one line (as they should), but for a short distance, then I pick them again,
and slide them a bit more etc. Then there are the ones that make me want to
scream. They slide only a little short segment at a time, and miter to the
rest of the line...and if I slide that miter to the end, it removes it, and
then I can slide more of the line. If I spend the couple of minutes to move
the line see the miter and move it to the end, the line eventually becomes
"whole" and operates perfectly. What I've decided to do in those cases, is
just do another add-connect, and that makes them "whole" again.

My question is, how do those aggravating little nudges in some lines get
there in the first place, and is there a way to easily remove them?

Regards,

Austin
