[PCB_FORUM] Re: Sicards to Specctra?

I am an Ex-User, Ex-AE and Ex-Salesman for SCICARDS.  It was still
around until about 1996 when it got sold off to Intercept Technologies
(Atlanta).  I know for a fact that it had a SPECCTRA interface, although
at what version it might support will be the bigger issue.

Intercept Technologies did inherit some of the SCICARDS support team.
If there are any left there, you might try looking them up for advice.

Uses, or, USED?

That's a very old system. It was the Cadillac of Ecad for a little while
(beginning of the 80's). I don't think there's much support for it these
days.....

Hi All,

   I'm talking to a potential customer that uses Sicards.
I'm not familiar with this tool and would like to know
if it has an interface into Specctra.

   Any input is appreciated.
