[PCB_FORUM] Re: Schematic drafting practices

I had an engineer that insisted upon placing all like components on the same
page.
Page 1 thru 4 showed all the IC's
Pg.5 transistors
Pg.6 resistors
Pg.7 capacitors
And so on....
He couldn't figure out why I was arguing with him. Go figure.

I didn't take it he was talking about (all) engineers in general, but the
specific ones he was dealing with, or I, too, would have taken to defend my
schematic practices.  It's rare (or never ;-) that I see schematics that are
as well documented and laid out as the ones I draw.  I do not consider them
just a way to get a netlist, like some do, I believe they are =>the<=
documentation source for an electrical design.
