I'll second that.  Also, specifying the layout rules, like max distance
between two pinpairs, or setting up diff-pairs, and min/max length for
length matching etc. IMO should all be on the schematics.  I'd like to see
schematics have "layers" like in PhotoShop.  You can turn on a particular
layer for a particular purpose, say for the software guys having all memory
addresses of particular devices and any special requirements etc. outlined,
or for layout guys having all layout rules/notes turned on.
