[PCB_FORUM] Re: Remote Allegro file viewing

Hi Mitch,

Gerbers allow the customer to build the board...and I believe that was the
problem that Peter was trying to avoid...giving the customer anything they
could use beyond simply being able to review the design.  Apparently, he
doesn't trust them, or is being overly paranoid.  I don't know his
situation, but I believe I understand what he wants to do.

If the database could be somehow locked SECURELY so that a customer couldn't
output anything at all, then this would solve this problem (until someone
came up with a way around it that is).
