You should be able to go into the capture.ini file and added the following 
omewhere in there:
This is an Example:
   [Allegro Footprints]
   Dir0=G:\apps\allegro_library\TSC\Allegro_Footprints\SMT\IC
   Dir1=G:\apps\allegro_library\TSC\Allegro_Footprints\SMT\Discrete
   Dir2=G:\apps\allegro_library\TSC\Allegro_Footprints\SMT\Connector
   Dir3=G:\apps\allegro_library\TSC\Allegro_Footprints\ThruHole\IC
   Dir4=G:\apps\allegro_library\TSC\Allegro_Footprints\ThruHole\Discrete
   Dir5=G:\apps\allegro_library\TSC\Allegro_Footprints\ThruHole\Connector
Each footprint library will have to have its own path but this is how I have 
one for other engineers who forgot to set it up in the installation process and 
t works for us.

This feature should be implemented while software installation: durring 
stallation there is a step where you are asked for a footprint (if any) type 
u wish to see: orcad layout or allegro.

rt, I use to see pcb foot print. Not a show stopper but it sometimes?nice to

ah the new DFA setup changes things a bit.? Pads became cross hairs, but the 
ace bound layer should still be visible.?
