Hi Jean, When I do Compose shape, it does just that...composes a shape on the selected layer, even non-etch. But it only constructs a solid shape. Not an unfilled shape. Also if you create an unfilled shape, you can not change the line width of the boundry....GRRR! The last one is what I want, but can not compose unfilled or make a copy to the same location. Thanks for your feedback, Mark Jean-Charles TEYSSIER wrote: Try "Shape -> Compose shape" (assuming your are in rev 15.x) Jean-Charles TEYSSIER Icra Industrie -------- Message d'origine-------- De: icu-pcb-forum-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx de la part de Mark Salberg Date: mar. 12/09/2006 14:14 À: Cadence User Group Objet : [PCB_FORUM] Construct single entity out of individual line sements Hi all, In Allegro, is there a way to construct a single entity out of individual line sements? Such as board outline segments. Also, is there a way to "Z copy" or copy "non-etch lines" to another non-etch layer? Z Copy wants Clines, shapes or closed polygons. Current work around is to copy all lines to another location, then Edit>Change>Lines to another layer. Than move it back to the original location. I just want to copy in the same location.
