That's because this routine ASSUMES there's an environment variable on the box called "tmp" which contains a path to where you'd write temporary files. Windoze boxes typically have this environment variable, *nix boxes typically do not. The immediate solution would be to create an environment variable within your *nix session called tmp and give it a value of =your= local scrap directory. The permanent solution would be for someone to update the routine to handle temporary output files in the more-or-less standard way of creating them in the cwd then deleting them when done. > BTW, does anyone have a .ilinit file, running on Unix that > I could check?
