[PCB_FORUM] Re: Question regarding the netlength.il skill file

I don't think the skill files work with the basic allergro studio tool. You may
need to upgrade. I think this is still true.

Subject: [PCB_FORUM] Question regarding the netlength.il skill file

Hello once again.
I was trying to test out the netlength.il skill file but when I load the .il
file and run the command (det) it gives me the error below.
E- *Error* fprintf: argument #1 should be an I/O port (type template = "ptg") -
nil
I have tried running it on both Version 14 and 15 and I have had no luck. Does
anyone else get this error? Has anyone found solution for this? Please let me
know if anyone has had this problem.
Thank you,
Seiji

Hi Seiji

You can’t go down a version once is saved using the higher version.
you will need To keep it at version 13.6.

I can’t think of another way to do it

Good luck

Subject: [PCB_FORUM] Is it possible to down rev from version 15-->14-->13?

Hi all,

It seems like I can’t stop running into trouble these days :)

Lets say I have a customer using Version 13.6 and we no longer have it
installed. I currently have access to Version 14 and 15. Is it possible to
use one of these versions and down rev the data down back to 13.6 after we are
done with routing. We need to keep it at 13.6 for customer purpose. I thought
about just importing and exporting subdrawing but I remember it having some
issues in the past and it is a pretty dense board so I'm afraid I might miss
something.

If anyone have any idea/suggestions please let me know.

Thank you,
Seiji
