To add, when using skill program to perform some padstack routines these unused pads also selected resulting in time, Even though its not affecting any design I would call as a "best practice" . I don't use Library Workbench, but I think I'll start doing the "purge" on every design anyhow. If so, what is the benefit? What is the downside to not purging? Is it simply a database cleaning function? Thanks for any responses.
