[PCB_FORUM] Re: Prop Delay Constraint in 15.2

This posting is from a while back.
Can someone outline the process in CM to match length accross resistors using xnets?
Is constraint manager the best place to define this?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Alexis,

We are new to 15.2, but would like to know if there is a method of
assigning prop delay to a signal that is broken by a resistor. We
want to be able to include both sides of the resistor in the constraint
manager in order to do realtime checking. Is this possible in 15.2?
Thanks for any info you can provide.

Yes, if you have Allegro Performance or Expert. If you simply have Studio, then no. The feature is called XNets. Let me know if you have Performance or Expert, and I will outline the process.

Austin
