[PCB_FORUM] Re: PIN_NUMBER visibility

My pin numbers show up when I turn the Class/subclass Package Geom/
Pin_number on. It's just that the pads are on top of the pin numbers so I
have to turn the pads off to see the pin numbers. Is there a way to have
the pin numbers show up on top of the pads?
Thanks!

Hey Garrett,
It's just the Class/Subclass Package Geometry/Pin_Number, just make it
visible. BTW, you will see pin numbers for both top and bottom parts, so
it's kind of confusing if you have a dense design with parts on both
sides. Also, if any of your symbols are a little old, the pin numbers
will not show up. I believe you would have to run update on the symbols
(or go into each one and do a "save"), then update the symbols in your
design. I haven't done this yet, so when I want to know a pin number, I
just do a Show Element.
Good luck!

Hello. I am running 15.2. How do you turn on the pin_number so you can
see it over the pads?
Thanks!
