Alan, Cadence has a PCI Express Design kit that does contain the board and much
more. It has a sample layout, constraint sets, demo movies, etc.
Everything a comapny needs to get started on a PCI Express project quickly and
safely.
Best of all, the downlaod is free.

Subject: [PCB_FORUM] PCI spec
Good morning all
I have been given a heads up that my next design will be a PCI card.
Having never work with the PCI specification I was hoping I could get some
assistance in the way of a good website. If it's not too much to ask maybe a
.dra file of PCI board outline to get me started.
I have been to a few websites including PCI-sig and their membership fee just
isn't compatible with the small business people like myself.
It's also my first experience with edge-finger connectors. Any suggestions on
this type of footprint would be welcome.
Thanks in advance.
Alan
