                You can run the 'dbstat' command on a (.brd or .dra)
file
                and it will return the database version and platform.
                
                The 'dbstat' command is executed from a Command Prompt
window
                
                Here is an example:
                
                E:\Temp_Files\Allegro\dbstat xyz.dra
                xyz.dra: 14.2 NT
