Sure does and more than likely easy to do.

I have a better idea. Leave the other database alone. Let's talk
importing only.
An interface to import constraints from another board file, with each
rule selectable independently.
Sounds like a great Skill project.

Always thought there should be some type of filter for exporting
techfiles (similar to IDF export) so that you could only export
the sections of the techfile that you needed.

Or...delete all other rules from the first board before exporting the
tech file. Don't know if that would be easier or not...

Anybody know an easy way to extract one particular
net_spacing_type from one board
to use on another board? Other than extracting an entire
techfile, editing the file to find
that one particular spacing type, and importing that section of
the techfile back into a
board?
thanks,
Mike
