Capot means a bonnet or a top cover for a car. If you look at the literal
meaning of your sentence, it may mean that the holes are tented or may have
measleing in the PTH's or rough holes.

Picot is also a French Canadian word for the scar we have from receiving an
inoculation.

Hi Ed,

 

My French dictionary says "picot" is either a textile or a wedge of wood.
Neither make sense to me with the rest of the sentence.

Does anyone know what "Picots du capot dans les trous du circuit" means? 
It is an apparent reference to four holes in a data sheet... I think it is
French.
