Hi all,
Is there a preferred way to tell if you are opening a design in
Allegro with any modifications to the JEDEC / Package symbol or pad
stacks from the native library?
Any script or report to compare the native library to database
differences.
We have tried to keep an ongoing list of any changes, but of course
some get left in the dust.
_Problem parts list:_(A list oa any part (schem or layout) that has
been made to a library part.
_Refresh list:_ (all parts requiring refresh to see part mods)
_Board updates list:_ (Issues listed by board part number to que you
of any outstanding issues on this particular board.
The problem is if you refresh a list or _all_, you risk removing a
needed modification for the design.
Yes, I may get the pin one silkscreen legend, but just blew away the
modified padstacks or modified silk, etc...
Any suggestions?
Regards,
Mark
