Sathish, I believe that 3.4 (3 integer places, 4 decimal places) for gerber output in millimeters is equivalent to a 2.5 gerber output in inches. As long as your design does not exceed +/- 39in from the zero point nor use any increment smaller than one mil, I do not believe that you will have any round off errors. Cheers! How can we gerber out in this fashion without any round off errors. Whether using the same metrics gerber format with (2 integer places , 5 decimal places)will provide a superior gerber output without any round off errors & film misalignments. > > > With Sincere, > > Sathish. > > GDA Technologies Inc. > > " Efforts may fail but, dont fail to make Efforts " > ----------------------------------------------------------- To subscribe/unsubscribe: Send a message to icu-pcb-forum-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with a subject of subscribe or unsubscribe To view the archives of this list please login at //www.freelists.org.
