Set the Variable:

allegro_long_name_size 255

Defines the maximum number of characters for the following strings: net name, 
pad stack name, slot name,
and function pin name.? The minimum value is 32 and the maximum is 255. This is 
only used when creating a new
drawing.

Hi Everyone,
We have run into a problem with long file names in 15.5. We have a customer
who uses very long files names for their padstacks. Previously we were able
to add these with no problem ( may have been using an expert license at the
time) but now we get a "file name too long" error. Is there a switch in
preferences, Or elsewhere, that I am missing that will allow us to use long
file names?
