Gary,
crash happen also after long time in allegro or after doing heavy
operations (shapes...)
Sometimes when strange things occure, i close allegro and reopen: no
more stange tings...
It seam to be a buffer organisation problem; don't know if it is
allegro's or xp problem.

Jean-Charles,
I’m the only PCB designer in our small group, so just one machine.
I don’t have to reboot, I just get back into Allegro.
When I got back in and performed the same function that caused the
problem before, it was fine.
I guess that means it’s not very repeatable. It happened a few days
ago, but it had been at least weeks since it happened before that.
No new programs installed, no windows updates.
Must be the phase of the moon or something!
Thanks,
Gary

Hi Gary,
does it happen only on one pc or all machines?
I guess the answer is "Yes" but do you have reboot? No new program
installed past days (i think abourt mentor expedition wich "kill"
concept! No way to run properly the two software on same machone)
Does you perform a windows update? (service pack 3?)
