the post that you observed from 2006 was the initial posting on "how to
use the forum" by the administrator.
 
the most recent job posting was on October 7 of this year.  You might
also note that most of the job postings have received over 1000 views.
 
You are certainly welcome to post both on cdnusers.org and on Freelists.
or one or the other.

        Thanks for the link. I didn't even know about that sub-forum, or
how to get to it,  but the most recent job posting is from 2006. I
sincerely intend no offense what so ever, but as a member of this
"freelist" I would much prefer to have employment opportunities listed
here. I have posted job sharing opportunites here when I get a bit
overloaded and have had some good and quick turn replies and
experiences.
