[PCB_FORUM] Re: Is there any way to replace more than one via, but not all of them?

Hey Austin,

What Shahed is talking about is the procedure that I attached last week
(derived padstack).

The basic idea is that you temporarily rename the group of vias that you
want to change.

Then you can do a padstack replace.

It's more or less a work-around for the shortcomings of padstack
replace.

Good luck,

Gary

Use temp group to select Vias you want to edit .In this case select
Circle

as Geometry. Then enter an arbitrary number for size in Width and
Height.

Autogenerate name or give any name you like.

Now you have set of vias which you can change pad stack size in one
shot.

Hi Shahed,

I looked at that, but it didn't make sense how to use to replace vias.

Have

you used it for that? If so, how?

Regards,

Austin
