[PCB_FORUM] Re: Import or Script to transfer datasheet pin info

Thanks Richard,
Sorry I wasn't clear... my grammar is usually bad until I get feedback and
realize what I didn't say...
I am already cutting and pasting into the OrCAD library symbol...
I only know that scripting exists and was just wondered if scripting was
capable of interacting between two separate applications? ( which should
have been my question )
I appreciate the feedback... it helps me focus.
Ed : )

Try cut and paste from a spread sheet.

Use shift-insert to paste into OrCAD

Subject: [PCB_FORUM] Import or Script to transfer datasheet pin info

Dear fellow designer brothers and sisters,

I am building an FPGA symbol in OrCAD Capture.
I am currently copying and pasting pin number and name from the datasheet.

I am not familiar with scripting... so please forgive the ignorant
question... Is it possible to script such a function???

Thanks in advance,
Ed
