Maybe the pad stakes were built on an earlier version
15.x cannot read pads takes that were built on the 13.x version
You have to load and save them again

Subject: [PCB_FORUM] Illegal element in SHAPE_SYMBOL
Getting a lot of errors like this:
W- Couldn't find padstack: C1P3DP9MM
E- Illegal element in SHAPE_SYMBOL
E- because Couldn't find padstack: C1P3DP9MM
Unable to load flash symbol T-1P8MM due to Illegal element in
SHAPE_SYMBOL
These are all coming from a whole new bunch of symbols that I had my remote
office create.
I have all the pads and flash symbols in the right path, and other
footprints load fine from that path, but a select few just don't work based
on similar errors as that above. I am testing these symbols before I put
them into my library, and several have "failed" due to similar errors...
different padstack names and different flash symbol names... so it is not
one single padstack failure.
Any suggestions? Any clues?
