You didn't include your name, so I don't know who to address, Quest cds?,

As far as I know, only the ref des can be "attached" to the ref des and
silkscreen subclasses in the symbol editor.  I don't think you can attach
any other text to these subclasses, even in the symbol editor.

As far as updating only one or two components (every now and then I'll
accidentally delete a piece of component outline or something), the only way
I know to "update" only one or two is to delete the part then place it again
(it comes back in just as it did when it was originally placed).

  When I add text on RefDes class, the text can be attached to the component
only in the Assembly_top or Assembly_bottom subclass.
  If select the silkscreen or display subclass, the text is just a note and
can not add again.

not find the way to update only the particular component.
  Who can tell me how to update the particular component's symbol or how to
make the text added to the RefDes class and Silkscreen subclass attached to
