One trick I use to do measurements is to create a rectangle on one of
the subclasses like package_geometry/assembly_top
by using create rectangle and then type in the pin 1 center x y then
type in the xy coordinate of pin 2 you want to measure.
Then you can move the rectangle off of the part and measure the
rectangle.

Hi,
1) I will like to create a custom shape as below, kindly advise how to
create?
2) I'm trying to measure the distance between center of pad to center
of pad (see below). Pin 1 is able to click to the center of the pad but
pin 2 always click to the bottom corner
(offset xy : 4mils) from left bottom corner. How do I measure and snap
to the center of pin 2?
