To add the property in Capture, select the Symbol, rmb Edit Properties and
select "User Properties".  This form will allow entry of the ROOM property
and value.

 

Alternatively, Edit / Browse / Parts will give a listing of all Components
from the root level of the Schematic.  They can all be selected and the
Properties spreadsheet opened by using CTRL+E to apply the ROOM property to
every Component.

Several other variations are possible, by sheet, hierarchical block, etc.

Hi all. Sorry for being off "forum" here, but could someone direct me to an
Orcad forum. I need to find out how to tell an engineer the best way to add
the ROOM= property to groups of symbols on a schematic.
