Jim,
To add the property in Capture, select the Symbol, rmb Edit Properties and
select "User Properties". This form will allow entry of the ROOM property
and value.
Alternatively, Edit / Browse / Parts will give a listing of all Components
from the root level of the Schematic. They can all be selected and the
Properties spreadsheet opened by using CTRL+E to apply the ROOM property to
every Component.
Several other variations are possible, by sheet, hierarchical block, etc.
