Hi Bob;

Just build a pad that matches to your wishes and place it four times around - being sure that you choose "Mechanical" in the palette. so that they wont have pin numbers. Thats how we do it.

happy christmas / happy new year.

Moris.

How do you go about adding a free pad (or four)?

This is for an Allegro 15.5 layout. I wish to place a bump pad at
each corner of my BGA devices without modifying the part footprint.
Seems like such an easy thing to do but I am stumped :-(
Tried doing a sub-drawing from a reference design but that process
is not cooperating. What is the trick?

Thanks in advance for your help!
