Hi
I've found this too. It's quite annoying as you cannot see what layer
a lighlighted net is on.
The striped pattern appears again when zoomed right out. (Zoomed out
too far to see anything.) When nets are highlighted it could well be
just another layer; there is no indication.
I've attached a pic as an example. (Hope the listserver doesn't remove
it.) Maybe Cadence can look into this, as it's not very friendly or
useful in its present state.
Cheers,
Richard

The behavior is happening when openGL is enabled. You will see it with
highlight and with hovering over objects in application modes when
openGL is enabled.
OpenGL is attempting to do a fill. Lower zoom levels allow striping,
and
when zoomed in, the highlight becomes solid. It's also a function of
the
width of the data. OpenGL will fill the line if it's zoomed in far
enough to show width on the screen.

with a solid
highlight color. The default is to display highlighted elements with a
combination of the highlight color and the element's original color
(striped).
Striped highlighting is not available on Windows.

the

is not
available on Windows.'
