[PCB_FORUM] Fw: shape restrict

Michael,

You sent your question to the Forum admin email so I am forwarding
my response to the Forum so other folks can chime in with a response.

Here is my response.
Defining a Route Keepout should do what you are looking for
but it will also prevent clines (traces) and vias as well.   The only
option you have on a Route Keepout shape is to allow vias inside
it using the Shape property VIAS_ALLOWED but clines/shapes
will allows DRC.
