I agree there are many instances in Allegro now that I would like it NOT
to think for me.
This is one good example George another would be the color palate.

Sounds like something for the top-5.
Both the find filter checkboxes and find by name pull-down used to be
sticky before Cadence "improved" them (in 14.0 IIRC) and slowed us
down... again :)

Hi All,
Is there any way to change/lock-down a particular setting (ie. Nets,
Symbols) in the Find Filter so that when you go in there for whatever
reason it will always come up to what you set it at?
For instance, I’m working solely with nets (ie highlight or Show element)
but when I go into the Find Filter now, it resets to something else each
time.
There’s gotta be something, I just haven’t found it yet…
