Alan, Have you tried running DBdoctor on the symbol and recreating the psm? Or it may be the symbol drawing extents exceed ther drawing extents of the board file you are placing it in. If you saw it you'd understand...;-) The board has the shape of a small axe... mixed smt/tht, 6 laters, no BGA's, not high speed. I have also taken former artwork for this design and made dxf's out of them. Then I imported the dxf and made one .dra (format type) of each layer converted to an dummy layer in Drawing Format. This doesn't seem to make adifference because I deletd them thinking they were the cause of the error and the error persists. I'm using Allegro Studio 15.2 Any ideas????? help!
